What you'll do
- Regional Coordination: Lead and coordinate accounting activities across multiple regions to ensure consistency and alignment with global standards.
- Collaborate with other regional/global finance teams to implement and maintain best practices in accounting and financial reporting.
- Optimization Projects: Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive accounting optimization projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement innovative solutions to streamline accounting operations and reduce manual efforts.
- Governance and Controls: Develop and enforce robust accounting governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard the integrity of financial data and prevent fraud.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of accounting staff.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for regional accounting matters, liaising with senior management, auditors, and external partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support strategic financial initiatives.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5years of progressive experience in accounting, with a strong background in global finance operations.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex accounting projects.
- In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Entrepreneurial minsdet to improve processes and teamplayer attitude
